So I know I said I would tell you how great the Wii is. I said I would do this like two weeks ago. Problem is I haven’t stopped playing long enough to write about it. Well I had to go back to work today after being on vacation from Nov. 16th – Nov. 26th and figured now would be a good time as any to update and say, “The Wii is amazing I love it more then anything in the world!”

I’m halfway through Zelda. I can’t say if its better then Ocarina of Time yet though…
Trauma Center is a wonderful remake of the DS classic.
Excite Truck is fun, very difficult, but fun non the less.
Madden is incredibly fun and rewarding.
Wii Sports is the Be All End All Wii Title.
Rayman is hilarious and fun as well.

Go get yourself a Wii. If you have one leave me a comment and we can exchange friend codes. Then you can have a virtual SP.net running around on your Wii…

So my birthday has come and gone. I have a new digital drivers licence, a hair cut, enough money to purchase a Wii, a giant framed picture of all the Presidents of the United States standing on the front lawn of the White House, and yet this birthday has been an interesting one. Did you know I share the same birthday as the guy who invented Donkey Kong and Super Mario Bros? Yup I do. Wow, Nintendo couldn’t reward us any better then to give us a NEW SYSTEM for our birthdays huh? My birthday brought a lot of “Happy Birthdays” from a lot of people I would expect. I also heard from people I didn’t expect to. I also didn’t hear from people I thought I would have. Maybe I’m being a bit selfish but God Damn it, I’m 25 now. Wish me a freakin’ Happy Birthday. It seriously is almost as irritating as my inability to get a freakin’ component cable for the Wii so I can hook my Wii up to my 50″ plasma HDTV. Seriously Nintendo, how could you allow yourself to SELL OUT on those?? HUH!?!? HOW?!!! True story, I went to Target today in Toms River and saw like 30 people lined up with mega crazy camping tents. What is this world coming to? Oh wait someone actually bought a PS3 off eBay for like $10,000 so I guess that means the apocolypse is coming. Well good thing because now that I’m 25 I’m only 5 years away from 30 and God help us all on that day…

Today’s lesson: When launching a new Video Game system manufacture enough component cables to go around on launch day, don’t forget to call your friend on his birthday, just because you love your boyfriend doesn’t mean you have to wait online for 4 days in a tent to get him a PS3, and just because I love the OC doesn’t make me any less of a man…

I love it.

The last time I updated you all on this was March 31, 2003. I am pretty sure I played it a few times after that but I know I completely stopped around that time. Anyway for over three years I have sat at the FINAL dungeon to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and I’ve never felt the urge to complete it. Well finally tonight, I sat down in about 2 hours finished it off once and for all. All in all I enjoyed Wind Waker but it is not by any means my favorite Zelda. My heart will always belong to The Ocarina of Time. Anyway what brought this on? The Wii. We’re 4 days away and The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess is one of my first titles. Will this steal the title from Ocarina? From what I hear it could be possible…
