“There is something you should know…I’ve never really seen snow…you know.” HAHA so I skipped a night so kill me. Last night was THURSDAY which means for Sean my weekend starts at 5 pm on Thursday. Last night I took my first trip to the Rider University Pub with Frank and his crew. Was fun, we downed pitchers and played card games. Then we hit up Poyda and then back to Frank’s house for some video games and Pietasters music. So I didn’t roll back to Rider until like 3 am. All in all a good night.

So something has been bothering me a lot lately. People keep trying to tell me that Toms River is “South Jersey”. I refuse to let misconception stand. Having actually lived in “South Jersey” for seven years I know what its like and being an expert on the Geography of NJ and the social tendencies of the state I figured i’d put this to rest once and for all. As I’ve learned in my NJ Govt. & Politics class NJ has no state pride. We New Jerseyians divide our selves into different sects. North Jersey, South Jersey, The Shore, etc. The funny thing is people recognize a Central Jersey along with the North and South.
As one can plainly see Toms River DOES NOT FALL INTO THE SOUTH JERSEY BOUNDARIES. It will never be South Jersey. Quite frankly I’m insulted that Toms River would even be considered to be in the same league as South Jersey because Toms River is a far more realistic and down to Earth region (we’ll leave the reason why I feel this way for another post) and I’ve lived in SJ…So Toms River-ites and fellow Ocean County-iers rally up for our CENTRAL JERSEY PRIDE! Sorry for the lack of a post last night for I had night class and was completely shot. I mean last semester I had a 12 hour day but Tuesdays this semester take the cake 14 hour day. The absolute worst. Quick run down on the rest of my classes:

NJ Politics and Government – Rebovich is the professor. Thats enough to make it great.
Networks – Super Amazing Class. I get to work with Brandon from DBM and it seems like its gonna be fun and interesting.
Telecommunications – Professor says “Anyone here planning on taking networks?” I say “What if you’re in it now?” He says “Then you’re gonna be really bored in this class”

So thats that. Today I read another fabulous news report about Britney Spears that makes me cringe. As you all know I’ve dealt with my share of annoying girls. I just find it ironic that my “celebrity crush” also annoies me too…Now Britney has been sluttin around Sundance with like three different dudes and yesterdays comment she made really set me off on how much of an idiot she is:

DUH BRITNEY…Sometimes we have to think about the things we watch! Why can’t you stop being slutty? Why can’t you just go back to the way you were in your Sometimes video??? Oh well… :-/
Going to see The Pietasters on Feb. 16! Cannot wait! They’re super amazing and if you’ve never listened to them then you’re an idiot. You should download some of their stuff ASAP! Buzz is tremendous about the Thong for this Valentine’s Day…More and more guys are tellin me they are getting them for their girls. This is going to be pretty insane. Now only if some pics came rolling in…Well I’m off for now hope to talk to you later…

So today was my first day of classes and here are my thoughts on my first two:

Systems Analysis & Design – Basically is a reunion of my entire DBM class. This could be a boring class or really fun. Too early to tell. Nice thing about it is I’ll be teaming up with my old DBM partner Frank. So it’ll be a good working enviroment…Also the professor seems like a cool guy so I think it’ll work out.

Intro to Film – Taught by this guy from New Zeland. We’re watching Rushmore! Plus John and Kevin are in the class with me. I also was reunited with a girl from my ethics class. So I have a nice little group that sits around me. I’m really excited about this one because I’m going to learn a lot of about the nitty gritty of film. More on that as it develops…

I have 3 classes tommrow: NJ Govt. & Politics @ 8 AM, Networks @ 9:45, and Telecommunications at 6:45 PM. Commentary on those classes will begin tommrow as well.
